Vintage Clothing Company
This project was inspired by my daughter claiming my baby clothes—now over 40 years old—and stating she intends to use them for her future child (not currently expecting, just planning ahead). As most people know, time is not kind to elastic, and beyond that, my baby clothes were well-loved and heavily worn. As a personal project, I set a goal to recreate the patterns and designs from my baby clothes on new fabric, bringing the nostalgia of the past into the present to be passed on to the future. A "something old, something new" kind of vibe.
I'm not sure how far I'll get with this, but my ultimate goal is to print the fabric, design and cut new clothing patterns, then sew and recreate the original garments. Lofty goals. The vintage store will likely carry DIY sewing kits, fabric by the bolt, accessories, and other items made from the fabric, as well as small sewing kits.
I also had a conversation with a professor who, after hearing me talk about other life experiences, found it interesting that I wear clothes from my late loved ones—my dad and my uncle—as part of my regular wardrobe. It’s my way of carrying them with me throughout my life, bringing them along for the ride. She suggested that this idea could be explored further, perhaps as a kit, book, or YouTube series on how people can repurpose the fabrics or clothing of loved ones into keepsakes or meaningful pieces for younger family members.
During my first semester of grad school, I recreated characters that originally appeared on my baby clothes. In the second semester, I designed new characters inspired by life experiences my daughter and I have shared. This has been a challenging project, as I don’t consider myself an illustrator, but it continues to push me creatively.

Company name, logo, branding, website and standard business, marketing and retail media will be produced as well as products offered within the vintage store.

Children's Book
This is a bit of a long story involving a clairvoyant, two obituaries, a check from my grandma and my dad and nephew. I'll save that story for the book, but these are the illustrations of my dad and my nephew that will be the main characters in this story.

Rotoscope Animation
This project is a rotoscope from undergrad. However, there's not a great place to put it currently, until I get more motion content.  I had my daughter participate and she is the subject of the video.

The praxinoscope, invented in 1877 by Charles-Émile Reynaud, is an early animation device that uses a spinning drum with images and mirrors to create the illusion of motion.
The concept of this video shows two animations... the foreground animation and the mirror reflection animation. When my daughter places her finger on the mirror, the "praxinoscope stops spinning" as can be heard in the audio, and therefore the animation movement for the mirror reflection stops as well.

The foreground animation continues to move, while the mirror animation is frozen until my daughter takes her finger off of the mirror.
